I am endorsing Barack Obama for President of the United States of America!

 

 

To have change, we must have a Democratic President. To get this country back on track, we need a leader like Barack Obama. This election is truely a choice between young and old, and a change to choose change over conservation. If we elect Barack Obama, he will become one of the youngest presidents of all time and the first ever African American President. The GOP old-boy John McCain, will be the oldest President to serve his first term.

I strongly fear that John McCain will give us a third term of George Walker Bush. Denying this as much as he wants, he spends a lot of time raising funds with the current President. John McCain was once a true moderate and on the wrong side of his party. He could not be President because he was strongly opposed by the core of far-right voters and fundamentalist Christians. His views led McCain to defeat in the primaries of 2000, making Bush the Republican Nominee. Today McCain stand on another side, having changed views on many issues, he can now be considered a conservative candidate.

McCain is a candidate of war, having openly supported the Iraq war. Obama is the candidate of diplomacy and respect towards a world more sceptical towards America. He voted against the war and is ready to give the world a more positive view of our country. He will lead it in a better way, working together instead of against others. This is a good way to run our country, and a good way to get respect and build a better relationship with the international community.

Every day we hear about sick people not getting treatment, simply because they can not afford it. Social security in this country is not in a respectable shape and this is not acceptable. By electing Barack Obama we will have affordable health care for all citizens, and a society giving people a fair chance to live a good life. The problems with social security and the economy needs change instead of slow reform, we need Barack Obama as President of our land of the free!

As a true American liberal patriot blogger, many would think I should choose another location for my blog. I found Townhall to be my place though, at the centre of conservatism and far-right conspiracy. Townhall needs some liberal views, and I am here to bring them about. I hope they will not delete my blog or anything like that, remembering back at previous experiences with the far-right media.

 

Hopefully I will be able to post many of my views in the near future, and I hope the posts can be interesting to you, liberals as well as conservaties.
